Telehealth
Quality Counseling. No Commute Required.
The same care you’d get in our office — from wherever you are in Alabama or Florida.
Life doesn’t always make it easy to ask for help.
Maybe you live an hour from Enterprise and the drive makes weekly appointments feel impossible. Maybe you’re a parent with kids at home and finding a sitter every week isn’t realistic. Maybe you’re active duty or a military spouse and your schedule changes without warning. Maybe anxiety makes the thought of sitting in a waiting room feel like too much — and doing this from home sounds a lot more manageable.
Or maybe you’ve been meaning to start therapy for months, but the logistics keep getting in the way.
Telehealth removes the barrier. You get the same therapist, the same quality of care, and the same results — just without the commute. All you need is a private space and a reliable internet connection.
Who Telehealth Works Well For
Telehealth is a great fit if you:
- Live in a rural area or far from Enterprise and in-person appointments aren’t practical
- Have a busy schedule — work, kids, caregiving — that makes it hard to get away
- Are active duty military, a veteran, or a military spouse with an unpredictable schedule or frequent moves
- Live in the Florida Panhandle and want access to a faith-integrated, insurance-based practice
- Experience anxiety or other challenges that make leaving the house difficult on hard days
- Prefer the comfort and privacy of your own space for personal conversations
- Travel frequently and need scheduling flexibility
- Simply prefer the convenience of virtual appointments
Telehealth works. It’s not a lesser option — it’s just a different setting.
What to Expect in a Telehealth Session
During and After Your Intake Session (first session)
Before beginning telehealth, you will come into the office to complete an intake assessment. This allows the therapist to gather a history on you and to determine if you are a fit for telehealth services. All sessions after the intake can be done via telehealth. Your telehealth session looks and feels very much like an in-person appointment. You’ll see your therapist on screen, have a real-time conversation, and work through the same goals and techniques you would in the office. Sessions are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant, secure platform — your privacy is protected.
We recommend finding a quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted — a bedroom with the door closed, a parked car, a home office. Wherever you can speak freely is the right place.
After Your Session
Your therapist will follow up with any notes, next steps, or resources just as they would after an in-person appointment. The continuity of care is the same.
Does Insurance Cover Telehealth?
Yes — in most cases. We are in-network with BCBS, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and the VA Community Care Network, and most of these plans cover telehealth sessions the same way they cover in-person appointments.
We recommend calling our office before your first session so we can verify your specific coverage. Our team will walk you through your benefits and make sure there are no surprises.
Private pay is also available at our standard session rates.
Where We Offer Telehealth
We are licensed to provide telehealth services to clients located in:

- Florida — statewide
If you’re unsure whether we can see you virtually, just call and ask. We’ll tell you right away.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is telehealth as effective as in-person therapy?
Research consistently shows that telehealth is just as effective as in-person therapy for most mental health concerns — including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many clients find they actually open up more easily from the comfort of their own space.
What do I need to get started?
A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, a reliable internet connection, and a private space. That’s it. Our team will send you everything else you need before your first session.
Is my session private and secure?
Yes. We use a HIPAA-compliant video platform specifically designed for healthcare. Your sessions are not recorded, and your privacy is protected.
What if I have technical issues during a session?
It happens occasionally, and it’s not a problem. Your therapist will have a backup plan — usually a phone call to finish the session. We’ll walk you through what to do if technology gets in the way.
Can my child do telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth can work well for older children and teenagers. For younger children, it depends on the child — our team will help you think through whether virtual sessions are the right fit for your child’s age and situation.
What if I want to switch from telehealth to in-person (or vice versa)?
No problem at all. Many of our clients do a combination of both, depending on what their week looks like. Just let our front desk or the therapist know and we’ll make it work.
