    Charity Colquett-Sharp

Charity Colquett-Sharp, LICSW is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience providing therapy to individuals across the lifespan. Charity brings a compassionate, empathetic approach to counseling and sees therapy as a partnership, walking alongside clients as they work toward their own goals for growth and healing.

Charity is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), drawing from both to meet each client where they are. Her work supports clients in building practical coping skills, increasing emotional regulation, and creating meaningful change in their relationships and daily lives. Because she works with clients at every stage of life, from children through older adults, she tailors her approach to each person’s developmental needs and season of life.

For clients who desire it, Charity intentionally integrates Christian faith and values into the therapeutic process, offering a space where evidence-based therapy and spiritual beliefs can coexist with care and respect. Faith integration is always client-led and guided by the client’s preferences.

A longtime member of the Wiregrass community, Charity earned her Associate of Science degree from Enterprise State Community College and both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Troy University.

Outside of the therapy room, Charity enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She appreciates a good book, a cup of coffee, and the simple pleasure of a sunrise or sunset.
