Suzanne Hudson
Suzanne Hudson, LPC, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with over seven years of experience in the mental health field. She has been licensed as an LPC since 2020 and holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Counseling and Clinical Mental Health. Suzanne has worked across a variety of clinical settings, including residential treatment, community mental health, and inpatient geriatric behavioral health.
Suzanne provides counseling services for adolescents, adults, couples, senior adults, and
groups. She offers trauma-informed, neurobiologically informed therapy that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her approach is grounded in an understanding of how the brain, body, and nervous system respond to stress and trauma, helping clients build emotional regulation, resilience, and healthier patterns of thought and behavior.
In addition to evidence-based modalities, Suzanne incorporates parts work, attachment-focused therapy, and narrative approaches to help clients better understand their internal experiences, relational patterns, and personal stories. She works collaboratively with clients to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, anger management, bipolar disorder, stress, trauma, grief and loss, caregiving challenges, life transitions, and relational difficulties.
For clients who desire it, Suzanne offers faith-integrated counseling that honors Christian beliefs and values while respecting each individual’s personal faith journey. She thoughtfully incorporates spirituality as a source of strength, hope, and meaning within the therapeutic process.
Suzanne believes that many individuals and couples feel “stuck” in their emotional or relational struggles and that therapy provides a non-judgmental space to find clarity, relief, and lasting change. She views counseling as a courageous process that invites openness and vulnerability, and she considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients in a quiet, comfortable, and safe environment as they work toward healing and growth.
