Suzanne Feiner
Suzanne Feiner, LPC, LMHC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, with decades of experience supporting children, adults, couples, and the elderly. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling and Human Development and has been working in the mental health field since 1994.
Suzanne’s professional background is diverse, including case management, crisis counseling, quality assurance, and direct therapy, which gives her a comprehensive understanding of client needs across the lifespan. She is an active member of the Alabama Counseling Association and the Alabama Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling, reflecting her commitment to ethical practice and faith-informed care.
Suzanne provides evidence-based, trauma-informed, and faith-integrated counseling, tailoring her approach to each client’s unique needs. She utilizes Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness training, grounding and relaxation skills, and communication skill development. For clients who desire it, she thoughtfully incorporates faith and spiritual beliefs as a source of hope, guidance, and strength within the counseling process.
