Gloria Williams
Gloria Williams is an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) who brings a rare combination of clinical training, classroom experience, and genuine heart for people to her work. Gloria is supervised by Stefanie Archie, LPC-S, and serves children, young adults, and older adults navigating a wide range of life challenges—from anxiety and emotional regulation, to life transitions, and long-standing patterns that no longer serve them.
A graduate of Zion Chapel School and Troy University, Gloria’s background spans both education and community mental health. As a psychology teacher, she made evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Reality Therapy practical and accessible—not only teaching these modalities, but also helping students understand how their thoughts, emotions, and choices shape their lives. Those same tools now guide her clinical work, where she helps clients challenge unhelpful thinking, build emotional resilience, and take meaningful steps toward change.
Gloria’s experience in community mental health, including work with individuals experiencing severe mental illness, has deepened her ability to meet clients where they are with compassion and skill. Her time living in Houston also shaped a culturally responsive approach—she brings sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and lived experiences into every therapeutic relationship.
Now rooted back in her home community, Gloria is grateful to serve the people of the Wiregrass area. Outside of the counseling room, she finds grounding in the outdoors, gardening, her pets, and time with family—a life that reflects the same balance and connection she helps her clients build.
