    Shannon Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working in the mental health field for over 18 years. Her experience includes working in a behavioral hospital, local mental health, the school system, and currently, in private practice. Shannon is a graduate of Elba High School and completed her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Psychology and Counseling at Troy University. She is a member of the Alabama Counseling Association and Alabama Marriage and Family Counselors.

    Throughout her career, Shannon has worked with individuals, families, and agencies in the office, home, probate court, and school settings. Her work experience includes case management, emergency response, crises, as well as therapy for individuals, families, groups, and couples. Shannon is passionate about the work that she does and values the trust that people place in her to help them cope, grow, and heal during difficult times.

    Shannon and her family are long-time residents of the Coffee county area and love being part of the community.  In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband of 28 years, her two amazing children, and her extended family. She has a strong faith in God, loves Alabama football, reading love stories, baking with her daughter, adventuring with her son, and grilling with her family. Family is everything!
